Job Summary:

Inventory Control Coordinator will handle inventory management, process orders, and plan warehouse efforts in coordination with business and production team needs.

 Job Tasks:

  • Maintain strong working relationships and open lines of communication with our vendors.
  • Understand and communicate lead times on all RM to the operations team.
  • Relay all vendor discrepancies or delays to the operations team.
  • Develop and active process determining purchasing needs based on previous years’ data as well as future forecasts.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with customer service team to determine future trends and large projects that would impact inventory levels.
  • Create and maintain a proper inventory min/max level for all material types.
  • Compare product deliveries with issued POs and contact vendors when there are discrepancies.
  • Follow up with the vendors on any shipping discrepancies including OSD.
  • Schedule and facilitate all large job meetings.
  • Assist with all non-stock orders.
  • Audit materials during the receiving process to ensure accuracy from our suppliers.
  • Employee will spend 60% of their time on the production floor and 40% of their time would be required to be in the office placing POs and communicating with vendors.
  • Review inventory demands using E10.
  • Complete cycle counts daily on all tier 1 inventory, twice a week on tier2 and once a week on tier 3 inventory.
  • Monitor the T-orders being requested, sent and received between facilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills. Both internal and external.
  • Work with vendors on all DMR material ensuring they are processed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate quarterly visits from our vendors to make sure all processes and inventory levels are correct.
  • Liaison with the purchasing team.

Requirements:

  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  •  Purchasing and/or inventory background preferred.
  • Knowledge in ERP & MRP systems.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to communicate with other team members, visitors and customers in an effective, pleasant, courteous and tactful manner.
  •  Computer experience with Windows, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
